The city of Everett is expanding and has the potential of being so much more. Our parks, expansive waterfront, schools, small businesses, and proximity to the mountains and the sea make it a special place. I have seen first-hand the passion and pride Everett has for their community, and it has been an honor to raise my family here.

Currently I am serving in my first term as your City Council Member and President of the Council.

Since I started working for the Everett Fire Department in 1990, I have dedicated my life to serving the families of Everett, often during their most challenging moments. Over 33 years in the emergency services field as a firefighter and  emergency manager, past Snohomish County Deputy Treasurer, labor leader, and safety manager has uniquely prepare me to lead Everett through difficult times.
